Fall 2026 Rehearsals Begin September 13th

Dear Choral Music Lovers and Members of the Ashtabula County Choral Music Society,

The signs that fall is approaching are here. The school buses are rolling. Pumpkins are growing in the
garden and mums are blooming. It is time to get ready for the fall season for ACCMS.

Our director, Paul Shellhammer is finalizing the plans for the Fall program. The first rehearsal is
September 13 at 4 pm at St Peters Episcopal Church. A list of dates is included in this
email. Our first concert will be November 22, 2026. Paul is finalizing plans to introduce our community
to a local composer. It should be a very memorable experience.

The board heard the request by new members to have a handout describing the ACCMS and the
guidelines for participating. We will go over them together at the first rehearsal. Also we are looking for
new board members. Please suggest people you know that would serve to advance our group.

The next meeting of the Board is September 26 at 10 am at St. Peters. Any member of the chorale is
invited to attend any general Board meeting.

You are encouraged to invite a friend, neighbor or family member who enjoys singing choral works to
join us Sunday, September 13, 4 pm, St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Ashtabula, Ohio. Singers between
the ages 13-17 years are at the discretion of the Artistic Director.
